Moon Tan Music is pleased to announce that Rick and the Kings of Cool will be the headline act for the Inter Provincial Exhibition in Armstrong, BC on Friday, September 3rd and Saturday, September 4th.
This 5 day event is one of the largest of its kind in the province of BC and Rick and the guys are very excited about performing at it for the first time. Hoe-Down for Hospice Fundraiser - September 18, Pitt Meadows, BC

On September 18th Rick and the Kings of Cool will be returning to the stage at the Heritage Rec. Hall in Pitt Meadows, BC. This great hall is where Rick and the guys have performed for many local events over the past 15 years. This show is in support of the 2nd Annual Ridge Meadows Hospice. This fun filled evening will include dinner, dancing and a silent auction. Early bird ticket prices are currently $60.00 each and go up on August 18th. Songwriter City - Dates set for Rick's Songwriting Course

During his career Rick has written or co-written 25 Top 40 songs. This fall he will be hosting the first of two songwriting courses at The ACT in Maple Ridge, BC where he will be teaching and sharing his approach to "Hit" songwriting. This first course will cover the basics every songwriter needs to know about writing a song and will feature two separate classes, one for adults and one for students. The classes will take place in the evening (6:30 PM to 8:30 PM) once a week for five weeks starting the first week of November. Adult classes begin Tuesday evening, November 2nd and student classes begin Wednesday evening, November 3rd.
If you want to improve your songwriting or just learn how to write your first song, then you'll want to take part in this rare opportunity to learn directly from Rick. Beginning Monday, August 16th details on the course will be posted at The ACT.

"Journey On" Cancer Benefit - Rick to Host and Perform

This Sunday, June 13th at Boone County Cabaret in Coquitlam, B.C. Rick will be hosting and performing at the "Journey On" Cancer Benefit Concert to raise money for the Surrey Cancer Clinic in Surrey, B.C. The show will be an acoustic affair featuring artists Kelly Brock and John Higgins(of the "Higgins"), Rachael Chatoor, Todd Richard, AJ Woodworth, Geoff Robertson, David Wills, Chad Brownlee, Sandra Laratta, Jordan Doell, Georgia Rain and Rob Hess.
There will also be a Silent Auction, a 50/50 Draw and lots of Door Prizes. Tickets are available at the door for $15. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm. You must be 19 years of age or older to attend.

Rick and the Kings of Cool are scheduled to hit the stage this summer with shows in Alberta and B.C. The guys are looking forward to performing and seeing their fans.
